Bowling Green broke open a scoreless match with five second half goals as the Lady Purples took a 5-0 win over the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons Tuesday night in Bowling Green. The loss ended a four match winning streak for the Lady Maroons.
The game was 0-0 with 30 minutes to go in the second half, when the Lady Purples got their offense revved up.
For the night, Bowling Green had 15 shots on goal to just five shots for the Lady Maroons.
Nevaeh Lindle finished the night with 6 saves in goal for the Lady Maroons.
The win was the third straight for the Lady Purples.
Madisonville (8-3) return home to face the Owensboro Catholic Lady Aces Thursday night.
