Trigg Blanks Northeast for Third Straight Win

The Trigg County Lady Wildcats soccer team took on Northeast on Tuesday evening, and they were able to get their third win in a row, and they did so by way of the mercy rule.

Maggie Wolfe led the way with four goals, as she was able to get whatever she wanted on offense. Leiah Hite also had three goals, while Kiylee Jones contributed a goal of her own.

As for the defensive side, goalkeeper Kylie Sloane was ablate get seven saves in net over the course of the game.

This is the team’d third straight win, and they have been able to shut out their opponents in all three of those games.

The Lady Wildcats will be looking to continue that trend in their next game against the Lady Rebels of Todd County Central at home on Thursday, September 18. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
