The Christian County Lady Colonels volleyball team was coming off of a win going into their Monday evening matchup with the Webster County Lady Trojans. Unfortunately they were not able to start a win streak, as they lost three sets to two.
The Lady Colonels were able to dominate the first set with a score of 25-13, and they also won the second with a much closer score of 29-27. But after that, the Lady Trojans were able to complete the reverse sweep and come all the way back to win the game.
Webster County won the third set 25-20, the second set 25-23, and the fourth and final set with a dominating score of 15-5. This was the Lady Trojans’ first reverse sweep of the season, and their fourth win in a row.
The Lady Colonels will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Tuesday, September 23, against the University Heights Lady Blazers. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at UHA.
