
Caldwell County and Webster County finally finished up their suspended match from last month, but the Trojans pulled away to win that contest 6-0 Monday at Butler Stadium.
Webster led 1-0 when the contest was stopped by lightning in the 35th minute on Aug. 12.
The Trojans led just 1-0 at halftime when play resumed.
But Webster (6-5) struck quickly in the second half to go up 2-0, then pulled away over the final 20 minutes.
Manuel Salinas and Andres Juan each had two goals and an assist for the Trojans.
Pasacual Alonzo added a goal and an assist. James Higdon had one goal while Manuel Francisco recorded one assist.
Harrison Warren recorded four saves in the Webster net while recording the shutout.
Caldwell is now 3-6.
The Tigers will play at Butler again Tuesday when they face Hopkins County Central in 7th District action.
Webster will visit Owensboro Apollo on Tuesday.
