The Todd County Central Lady Rebels were looking to snap Franklin-Simpson’s win streak on Tuesday evening. They were unfortunately not able to do that, as they went down with a score of 6-2.
The team’s two goals came from Jaidyn Holland and Varina Rager, but it was not enough to combat the Lady Wildcats. Frankin-Simpson was able to score six goals, and two of them being from penalty kicks definitely helped.
Despite the six goals she allowed, Todd County Central goalkeeper Josira Espinoza still finished the game with 12 saves in net.
The Lady Rebels will be hoping that they can bounce back from back-to-back losses in their next game on Thursday, September 18, against the Trigg County Lady Wildcats on the road. The game is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m.
