
The University Heights Blazers soccer team faced off against Murray High looking for their tenth win of the season. Unfortunately they were not able to get it, as the Tigers were able to get the 3-2 win, keeping their undefeated season alive.
Murray was able to score just 30 seconds into the game, giving them a very early 1-0 lead, and they were able to score again going into halftime.
The Blazers were then able to tie the game at two goals apiece, as Cal Givens was able to score on two penalty kicks. One of them was in the late stages of the game, but the Tigers were able to score not long after and take the 3-2 victory.
UHA will be looking to bounce back and get their tenth win of the season in their next game against Ohio County on the road on Thursday, September 18. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m.
