
Caldwell County senior Scott Cortner captured medalist honors for the second straight day, although the Tiger golf team dropped a home match against Crittenden County at Princeton Golf Club on Tuesday.
In the final home match of the season for Caldwell, the Tigers shot 185 while the Rockets shot 179.
Cortner shot a 5-over-par 41. Presten Alfred was next for Caldwell with a 44. Brody Kirk and Brandon Hall each shot rounds of 50. Lukas Harper carded a 56 and Braydon Schott had a 58.
For Crittenden, Jaxton Duncan and Cash Singleton each carded rounds of 44. Brentley Rushing had a 45, Mitchell Brownn 46 and Hudson Stokes 48.
The girls also played Tuesday.
Crittenden’s Georgia Holeman was medalist with a 45. Teammate Abby Korzenborn had a 55.
For Caldwell, Brylee Boitnott shot a 52, Bryleigh Jordan 57, Marlye Harper 64 and Hayden Hall 65.
Caldwell’s golfers will face Heritage Christian Academy on Thursday at Western Hills Golf Course in Hopkinsville.
The regional golf tournaments are next week.
