UHA Rebounds from Tuesday Loss with Win Over Trigg County

The UHA Blazers rebounded from a tough one-goal loss Tuesday night at Murray by picking up their tenth win of the season Wednesday night. The Blazers used three second half goals to gain control of the match on the way to a 4-1 win over the Trigg County Wildcats at Givens Field.

The Wildcats, who have lost three one goal matches this season, were right in the thick of it throughout the first half.

UHA got on the board when Graham Conrad scored off a Lincoln Hauret assist to make it 1-0. That score would hold until the halftime break.

The Blazers came out in the second half and made their move to extend the lead. UHA got goals from Graham Conrad, Lincoln Hauret, and Cal Givens as the Blazers extended the lead to 4-0.

Trigg County got on the board late when James Garnett found the net off an assist from Jensen Nolte to trim the margin to 4-1.

The win moves UHA to 10-2 for the season as the Blazers hit the road Thursday night to take on Ohio County.

Trigg County drops to 5-5. The Wildcats will get back to work Thursday night when they host Heritage Christian Academy.
