Four matches in four days may have taken a little bit of a toll on the UHA Blazers Thursday night. After taking an early lead on the road, the Blazers saw Ohio County score four unanswered goals to take a 4-1 win in University Heights’ final tuneup before this weekend’s All A Classic state tournament in Louisville.
The Blazers got on top 1-0 on a goal from Hayden Hunt, his 15th score of the season.
The Eagles responded with a pair of first half goals to take a 2-1 lead into the break.
Ohio County added two more goals in the second half on their way to the three-goal win.
UHA finished the night with nine shots on goal.
Hayden Fitzsimmons ended the night with seven saves for the Blazers.
UHA (10-3) now gets ready to take on Bishop Brossart Saturday. The Mustangs are 7-5 on the season and coming off a Tuesday night loss to Campbell County.
UHA and Bishop Brossart have met once on the soccer pitch, with the Mustangs winning 6-1 back in September 2012.
