After losing to the Crittenden County Lady Rockets in the All A Classic back in August, the Lyon County Lady Lyons have now picked up back-to-back wins over their 5th District rivals. The latest came Thursday night as the Lady Lyons went on the road to Marion and claimed a 2-1 victory on the Lady Rockets’ home pitch.
Lyla Melton and Edie Jones each had a goal in the Lyon County win. Melton’s goal was her 8th of the season, while Jones picked up her second score of the year.
Ella Geary had the lone goal of the night for Crittenden County.
The Lady Lyons (4-7-1) get back to action Monday night when they host Graves County at Lee S. Jones Park.
