Trigg Gets Back on Track with Shutout of HCA

Coming off a tough loss to University Heights on Wednesday, the Trigg County Wildcats rebounded in a big way Thursday night at the Trigg County Recreation Complex. Seven different Wildcats scored as Trigg County cruised to an 8-0 win over Heritage Christian Academy.

Matthew Choate scored his 6th and 7th goals of the season to lead Trigg County in the win.

Connor Harrison, Cameron McCormick, Kyle Choate, James Garnett, Axel Rayburn, and Jensen Nolte also found the net for the Wildcats.

Garnett dished out two assists for Trigg. Carsen Gresham, Kyle Choate, and Matthew Choate added an assist each.

Keepers Cameron McCormick and Trystan Webb had one save each in goal for the Wildcats.

Trigg improves to 6-5 for the season and will go on the road Tuesday night to take on Hopkins County Central.

Heritage Christian drops to 0-7. The Warriors host Lyon County Friday night.
