Lady Colonels Hit Double Digits in Win Over Union County

The Christian County Lady Colonels had their highest offensive output in two years Saturday as they ended a four-match losing streak. Five different players found the net as the Lady Colonels cruised past Union County 10-2.

The ten goals are the most for Christian County since September 2023, when they put ten goals on the board against McLean County.

Carliah Hobson had a big day to lead the Lady Colonels with four goals. Aaliyah Bell scored her first, second, and third goals of her career. Carlie Hobson, Emerson Boyd, and Virginia Lopez added one goal each. The goal for Lopez was her career first.

Genesis McGee and Norah Westerfield had two assists each. Natalia Fillidei added one more.

Neziyah Bell had a good day in goal, coming up with 9 saves.

Christian County (4-9-1) will get back to action Monday on the road for an 8th District contest against the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons.
