The Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons soccer team went into their road matchup with the McCracken County Mustangs looking to snap their losing streak. Unfortunately they were not able to do that, as McCracken extended their win streak to six with a 4-1 victory.
Ben Crouch had the lone goal for the Maroons off of a rebound, but that one score was not enough to hold off the Mustangs. They were able to score four goals over the course of the game, three of which were by the same player.
The Maroons will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Tuesday, September 23, against Owensboro on the road. The game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Shifley Park.
