The Christian County Lady Colonels and the Fort Campbell Lady Falcons faced off on a gloomy Monday evening. It was the latter that was able to get their second straight win and get the 6-1 victory as the regular season winds down.
The driving force in the win for the Lady Falcons was A’mari Grimsley, as she was able to score four of the team’s six goals over the course of the game. The other two came from Avery Katz and Mylah Sawyer, and that was enough for the team to get and keep a five goal lead.
As for the Lady Colonels, their goal came from Genesis McGee, and goalkeeper NeZiyah Bell had 17 saves in net over the course of the game.
Christian County will hope to bounce back quickly, as the regular season will soon be coming to an end. They will be looking to do just that in their next game on Tuesday, September 23, on the road against Clarksville. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m.
As for the Lady Falcons, they will take a two game win streak into their game against the Caldwell County Lady Wildcats on Tuesday, September 30. Their game is scheduled to begin at 7:30 p.m. at Caldwell.
