Easton Bourland led a contingent of Dawson Springs runners at the St. Mary Invitational Saturday by winning the boys race in a down-to-the-wire fashion. Bourland won with a time of 16:34.66.
Bourland’s winning time was less than a second faster than runner-up Guervens Binfield-Smith, of Graves County. Vaughn Bounds, of Dresden, took third place.
The Panthers did not field enough runners to compete in the team portion of the event.
Other finishers for Dawson Springs were:
Noah Riley – 12th place
Lucus Duke – 93rd place
Chandler Anderson – 94th place
