A Top 10 finish Saturday for Hopkinsville’s Lauren Mayes at the Owensboro Invitational. Finished her run in a time of 21:48.86, which was good enough for a seventh-place finish in the girls’ race.
Webster County’s Mayci Moore won the girls’ race with a time of 19:23.65. Peyton Reid, of Owensboro Catholic, finished second.
Other finishes for the Lady Tigers were 13th place for Alexis Herrera Loveto, Evelyn Bangart at 23rd, 25th went to Kaydon Coates, 38th place for Amerah Acree, and 47th place went to Luanna Acree.
As a team, the Lady Tigers finished in third place with 93 points.
Owensboro Catholic took the team title with 24 points. Webster County was second with 58 points.
