The University Heights Lady Blazers went into their matchup with Ohio County looking to bounce back from a loss in their last game. That is exactly what they did, as they were able to get the mercy rule just a few minutes into the second half.

The driving force behind the win was Kendall Hancock, as she was red-hot and score five goals over the course of the game. Audrey Perry, Cecilia Langhi, and Gracie Ausenbaugh all had goals of their own as well, which was enough to give the team an 8-0 win.

UHA’s defense also played outstanding in the win, as they did not allow a shot the entire game.

The Lady Blazers will be looking to carry this momentum into their next game on Thursday, September 25, against the Lady Storm of Hopkins County Central. The game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at UHA.
