The Trigg County Lady Wildcats soccer team was looking to extend their win streak to an impressive 10 games in their matchup with Kirkwood on the road Tuesday evening. Unfortunately they were not able to do that, as they went down 5-0.
The team went on the road to Clarksville, TN, which might have been a factor in the loss, as they were not able to capitalize on any of their opportunities and score a goal.
Goalkeeper Kylie Sloane had six saves over the course of the game, but still allowed five goals to Kirkwood.
The Lady Wildcats will be looking to bounce back in their next game on Monday, September 29, against the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. at the Stadium of Champions soccer fields.
