She became the first Todd County Central Lady Rebel to compete in golf in more than five years, and Monday, Naomi Welborn’s junior golf season wrapped up with a 35th place finish in the 3rd Region girls’ golf tournament at Willow Oaks Golf in Glasgow.
Welborn finished her round with a score of 107. She shot a 52 on the front nine, including shooting par on the par 4 #3 and #6 holes. She then closed out her round with a 55 on the back nine.
Bowling Green’s Caroline Childers won the regional title with a 72. Kenzie Willen, of Cumberland County, was second with a 73.
Bowling Green won the team title with a 319. Barren County took second with a 352.
