
The Caldwell County Lady Tiger soccer team earned its 11th win of the season on Tuesday, capturing a 3-2 decision at Paducah Tilghman.
Aliya Towns twice gave Caldwell the lead in the contest, scoring goals to put the Lady Tigers up 2-1 and 3-2.
Towns converted a penalty kick in the 62nd minute to net the game-winning goal.
Caldwell goalkeeper Shylee Hinchee stopped a Tilghman PK in the 50th minute to keep the game tied 2-2.
Kiya Sears had given the Lady Tigers a 1-0 lead with a goal midway through the first half.
The win was the third-straight for the Lady Tigers, who are now 11-5. Caldwell has won five of its last six outings.
The Lady Tornado is now 4-7.
Caldwell will next host Graves County on Monday.
