
After a tough start to the day at the boys’ 3rd Regional golf tournament, Todd County Central’s Noah Rager finished strong and put himself in position as an alternate to this year’s state golf tournament. The boys region tournament took place Tuesday at Crosswinds in Bowling Green.
Rager shot a six-over-par 42 on the front nine and was tied for 30th place after nine holes. He then finished strong with an even par 36 on the back side to climb up the leaderboard. Over the final nine holes, Rager had seven pars, one birdie, and one bogey.
His round of 78 tied him for 15th place and sat him as an alternate for the first round of the state tournament.
Other scores for the Todd County Central boys team were:
Weston Strader – 92 – 66th place
Garland Lester – 93 – tied for 67th place
Hunter Johnson – 98 – 74th place
As a team, the Rebels finished in 15th place with a 361. Greenwood won the team title with a 304. Glasgow and Bowling Green tied for second.
