Lyon County senior Cooper Collins obviously was not happy with his round Tuesday in the boys’ Region 1 golf tournament at Murray Country Club.
He struggled at times and finished his day at 11-over-par 83.
However, many other golfers were also battling with the conditions and the pressures of the regional tournament. When the scores were totaled, Collins’ 83 was the cutline for those advancing to the State First Round tourney next Tuesday in Calvert City.
