
Kaydon Coats struck twice and added three assists, and two other Lady Tigers netted two goals to power Hopkinsville to a 7-2 road win over Crittenden County on Thursday.
The Lady Tigers inched closer to .500 with their second win in three outings to improve to 7-8 ahead of a trip to Mayfield on Saturday.
Kaylyn Lynch and Lauren Jones each collected two goals, and Jessica Rodriguez also found the back of the net for Hoptown. Azaa Enkhtugs assisted on a pair of goals, and Lauren Mayes set up another.
Kaylyn Schwartz and Karla Quintanilla combined for the win in goal for the Lady Tigers.
Adri Berry and Kiersten Smith scored for the Lady Rockets with assists from Kylie Bloodworth and Haley Moore. Macibelle Hardesty was busy between the posts with 12 saves.
Crittenden County slipped to 6-8-1 and will hit the road to face Paducah Tilghman on Tuesday.
