UHA’s Kendall Hancock scored the first goal of the night for the Lady Blazers and then her pass set up the game-winning score late in the match, as the Lady Blazers beat Hopkins County Central 2-1 at Givens Field. She spoke with YSE after the game.

Its very sad that the refs allowed those girls to play dirty and hurt central girls like they did. To have parents and a coach yell take out the goalie and a girl intentionally sweeps her legs and hurt her. They knew that was the only way to win. There are pictures that show it. Two hand shoving girls out of the field and intentionally hurting them is not the way to win a game. Thank god central goalie is ok. And I do hope they see this team again. As a Henderson momma im proud of how those girls held it together and didnt stoop to uha level. Good luck storm I hope you all get to face off with them again. And to your goalie. Great job out there you are a tough one. Some of you UHA parents should be ashamed.
