Talented on the field, taking care of business in the classroom, and involved in numerous things outside of athletics and academics, all of the things that are used to perfectly describe a student-athlete identified as a Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’ That would also be an accurate way to describe Christian County High School’s Jayleigh Campbell.

On the field, Jayleigh is a captain for the girls’ soccer team. She pulls double duty in the fall, as she is also one of the few female kickers in Kentucky high school football during the 2025 season.

Jayleigh, who is a junior this season, has been among the top two goal scorers for the Lady Colonels for the past two seasons.

She also stands out on the marching field for the Christian County High School band. Jayleigh plays the saxophone and is one of the section leaders, She has been to all district band twice. She was also with the band when they marched at Disney World.

In the classroom, Jayleigh is a Gifted and Talented student. The Gifted and Talented program in Kentucky high schools is designed to provide qualitatively differentiated educational services for students formally identified as having exceptional ability or potential in one or more specific areas. The program focuses on developing a student’s individual interests, needs, and abilities beyond the standard curriculum.

Service options are designed to extend learning beyond the standard curriculum and provide flexible experiences.

Jayleigh is an honors student and she does early college. She plans to graduate May 2027 as an honors graduate with her Associate’s of Science Degree from Hopkinsville Community College.

Outside of the classroom, Jayleigh is involved with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at Christian County High School. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is a large, international, non-profit Christian sports ministry. It is one of the largest sports organizations of its kind in the world, working across various levels of athletics. The vision of the organization is to see the world transformed by Jesus Christ through the influence of coaches and athletes. Its mission is to lead every coach and athlete into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and His church.

As for the future, Jayleigh says she is hoping to continue soccer through college and major in music education.

Talented and with a plan for her future, just part of the reason that Jayleigh Campbell is well worthy of being a Chick-fil-A ‘Triple A.’
