The Fort Campbell Lady Falcons are having one of the best volleyball seasons for the program in several years. That run continued over the weekend as the Lady Falcons won the annual matchup with the Fort Knox Lady Eagles.
It was a tough contest, with the Lady Falcons taking the win two sets to one.
Fort Knox won the opening set 25-23 to take a one set to none lead.
The Lady Falcons responded by winning the final two sets 25-21 and 25-22 to take the match.
Fort Campbell is now 10-2 for the season.
The 10 wins is the most for the program since the 2010 season when Fort Campbell went 17-11 and reached the 2nd Region tournament.
Currently, the Lady Falcons are the third ranked team in the RPI ratings in the 2nd Region behind Henderson County and Webster County.
