The Todd County Central Lady Rebels celebrated Senior Night Monday in fine fashion. The Lady Rebels won their sixth straight match, sweeping their way past the University Heights Academy Lady Blazers three sets to none.

Often times, a team going through Senior Night will get off to a slow start due to the emotion of the evening. Not so Monday night for the Lady Rebels. Todd County Central opened by rolling throught the first set 25-13.

The Lady Blazers came battling back in the second set and pushed it all the way to the wire. Still, it was the Lady Rebels who found the way to close out the set, taking a 25-23 win to go up two sets to none.

The third set was much like the second. The Lady Blazers pushed the Lady Rebels to the end, but, in the end again, it was Todd Central doing enough at the end to win the set 25-21 and take the match three sets to none.

Aubri Penick and Allyssa Wofford did their usual job at the attack. Penick finished with 17 kills and Wofford with 12. Penick also had seven service aces. Shelby Holderman ended up with 29 assists for the night.

For the Lady Blazers, Megan Long had five kills. Niyati Patel and Niyona Brown added three each. Gretchen Durham pitched in with 16 assists.
