The Hopkins County Central Storm cross country team finished in 11th place at Saturday’s Logan County Cougar Run in Russellville.
The course at Logan County High School will play host to the region cross country meet next month.
Sam Martin was the first Storm runner to cross the finish line. He came in 24th place with a time of 19:05 over the 3.1-mile course.
Alex Ray came in 32nd place with a clocking of 19:40, and Jaxson Adcock was 45th in 20 minutes flat.
Landon Posey finished in 83rd place with a time of 21:29, while Duncan Spires was 151st in 25:54.
The Storm finished two points behind 10th-place Dawson Springs and 30 points ahead of 12th-place McCracken County.
Apollo won the team title with 66 points while Union County’s Tristan Coy won the race in a time of 16:25.
