Christian County sent four runners to the starting line at Saturday’s Logan County Cougar Run in Russellville.
Eighth grader Lucas Coats was the first Colonel across the finish line in 33rd place in a time of 19:43 over the 3.1-mile course. That was good for a new personal best time.
Eighth grader Bryce Hamlin was 34th in 19:43. Cash Taggart was 145th and 25:27, and John Pitts was 180th and 34:30.
Union County’s Tristan Coy won the race in a time of 16:25.
