Without its top two runners, the Hopkinsville Tigers came in 20th place at Saturday’s Region 1 preview, hosted by Logan County and Russellville. The same course will play host to next month’s Class 2A Region 1 meet.
Freshman Levi Johnson was the first Tiger to cross the finish line. He came in 91st place in 21:56. Fernando Rojas was 118th in 23:21, while LaMareon Jeffers came in 136th place in 24:21.
Jesus Tomas was 158th in 26:27, and Jacob Carter finished in 179th place in 31:49.
Union County’s Tristan Coy won the race in a time of 1625.
