
A historic season for the Hopkins County Central Lady Storm added another chapter Monday night. The Lady Storm rolled past Muhlenberg County 9-1 on the road and became the winningest team in program history, picking up their 13th win of the season.
With the 9 goals, the Lady Storm also set the record for most goals in a season. The team had previously set the record for team assists in a season. Defensively, the team is tied for most shutouts in a season.

Lilly Armour ended the night with four goals and two assists. With the four goals, Armour moves up to third on the all-time scoring list at Hopkins County Central with 74 career goals.
In addition to Armour’s big night, Emma Vandiver and Jaci Childress scored two goals each. Riley Richardson had the other goal for the Lady Storm.
Childress, Mary Grace Starks, and Abi Greer added one assist each.

Savannah Barnett finished with two saves in goal.
After leading 8-1 at the half, the Lady Storm ended the match with a goal about 10 minutes into the second half.
Hopkins County Central (13-2) will now close out the regular season on Thursday night when the Lady Storm hosts South Warren.
