Campbell Lindsey shaved four shots off her first nine score at Monday’s KHSAA State Golf First Round at the Calvert City Country Club.
The University Heights Academy sophomore shot a round of 92 to finish tied for 48th place. She missed qualifying for next week’s state championship in Bowling Green by seven shots.
Lindsey shot a 48 on the front nine but countered with a 44 on the back nine that included four pars.
It was the second straight year that Lindsey advanced to the state first round.
