The Lyon County Lady Lyons soccer team went into their game against the Paducah Tilghman Lady Blue Tornadoes looking to get their first win in a few games. They had lost two of their last three, and that other game ended in a tie.
They were unable to get the win, as a defensive game unfolded on Monday evening against Tilghman, and the two teams tied 0-0.
Neither team was able to break through and capitalize on any of their opportunities on the offensive end, and each team’s defense was able to hold strong and prevent those scores.
The Lady Lyons will be looking to get their first win since September 18 in their next game against the Hopkinsville Lady Tigers on the road on Tuesday, September 30. Their game is scheduled to begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Stadium of Champions soccer fields.
