Lyon County’s Brenna Breitrick tied for 43rd place at the KHSAA State Golf First Round on Monday at the Calvert City Country Club.
Breitrick shot a round of 91 to finish six shots out of advancing to the state championship in Bowling Green next week.
She began her day on the back nine, where she shot a 46 and finished with a 45 on the front nine. Her scorecard showed four pars.
For the Lady Lyon junior, it was the first time she qualified for the state first round after a strong day at the region level.
