Madisonville Runners Finish in 17th Place at Logan County

Madisonville-North Hopkins came in 17th place at Saturday’s Logan County Cougar Run at Russellville on the course that will play host to next month’s region meet.

The Maroons finished 42 points behind 16th-place Franklin-Simpson and 14 points ahead of 18th-place Heritage Christian Academy.

Kaleb Dunkley was the first Maroon across the finish line in 44th place in a time of 20 minutes flat. Trevor Fox finished in 86th place in 21:46 while Brodie Beard was 119th in 23:23.

Connor Jernigan came in 139th place in 24:35, with Camden Crowley 148th in 25:38, and Jeremiah McLevain was 155th in 26:17.

Trey Tooley was 162nd and 27:15, while Mason Dunbar was 171st, and Shad McDurmon was 172nd.

Apollo took the team title with 66 points while Union County’s Tristan Coy won the race in a time of 16:25.
