Landon Hunt is playing his best golf at the right time. The McCracken County senior blistered the Calvert City Country Club on Tuesday with a 7-under par 65 to take first place in the KHSAA State First Round by four shots. Hunt’s round included eight birdies and one bogey.
Hunt, who won the region championship last week, will play in the KHSAA State Championship next week in Bowling Green.
