Like many golfers on Monday, Allie Sandifer found the putts tough to drop as she finished tied for 57th at the KHSAA State First Round at the Calvert City Country Club.
The University Heights Academy sophomore shot a 45 on the front nine and countered with a 49 on the back nine as her scorecard showed six pars.
It was Sandifer’s first trip to the KHSAA State First Round, and she missed qualifying for the championship round by nine shots.
