
Caldwell County’s volleyball winning streak against Livingston Central continues.
The Lady Tigers captured a 3-1 decision Tuesday night in Smithland, bouncing back from an opening-set loss to prevail 21-25, 25-18, 27-25, 25-11.
The Caldwell volleyball program is now 30-0 all-time against the Lady Cardinals.
The Lady Tigers used a balanced attack against Livingston.
Chevy McGowan totaled 10 kills, eight digs and one ace while Laylay Shearer had nine kills and three blocks. Grace Watson recorded eight kills and five digs.
Kylee White tallied 37 assists to go with two kills, six digs and three aces. Troy Freeman had five kills and three aces. Mycah Riddle added 17 digs, two kills and four aces.
Med Thomas recorded three kills and one dig. Tink Clark had two kills, four digs and five aces. Maddie Cooper had six aces and four digs.
Caldwell has now won four straight matches — and six of its last seven — and is 13-10 this season.
Livingston slipped to 5-12 with the setback.
