Sophomore Colin Turmero scored seven goals Tuesday night — and Caldwell County needed every one of them.
The Tigers rallied from behind in the second half for the second straight night to defeat Fort Campbell 7-6 at Butler Stadium in Princeton.
The Falcons (4-9) seemed to have the momentum when a goal in the 54th minute put the visitors up 5-3.
However, Turmero scored three goals over the next 4 minutes to put Caldwell in front 6-5.

Fort Campbell got a hat trick from Dylan McDonald, who recorded his third goal on a blast inside the box in the 73rd minute. That cut Caldwell’s lead to a single goal.
But the Falcons could not draw even down the stretch.

But Turmero struck again just before halftime to knot the match at the break.
Fort Campbell got goals from Aiden Ward and Donovan Brown in the 49th and 54th minutes to build its 5-3 advantage.
But Turmero scored on a free kick from just outside the box in the 55th minute, then scored on a difficult angle from the left side in the 57th minute to make it a 5-5 match.

Fort Campbell still leads the all-time series 33-8-4.
Meanwhile, Turmero’s seven-goal night pushes his total this season to 29. That’s the fifth-highest single-season total for a Tiger. Brett Seymore had 49 goals in 2013.
Turmero now has 40 career tallies which has him tied for sixth on the Caldwell career list. Seymore tops that chart as well with 102.
Turmero’s seven goals are one off the school single-game record. Seymore and Mitchell Scott each had eight-goal games.
