Fort Campbell sent just four runners to the starting line at Saturday’s Logan County Cougar Run, but all four finished in the top 40.
In her first varsity race, seventh grader Abby Roberts finished in sixth place with a time of 22:10 over the 3.1-mile course that will also play host to the Region 1 Meet later this week.
Another middle schooler also produced a top-10 finish in her first varsity race. Eighth grader Liliana Ketterl came in ninth place in 22:21.
Delaney Perry finished in 31st place with a time of 24:37, and Alexa Doyle was 40th in 25:11.
Webster County’s Mayci Moore won the race in 20:14.
