It will be one for the history books and it will for all time go down as a win. Playing the final regular season match in program history, the Christian County Lady Colonels picked up a 3-0 win over the Russellville Lady Panthers Thursday evening at the Stadium of Champions.
The Lady Colonels got scores from Adreyona Smith, Genesis McGee, and Norah Westerfield. The goal for Smith was the first of her high school career.
Westerfield and Smith also picked up assists for Christian County.
NeZiyah Bell had four saves in goal for the Lady Colonels, giving her 255 for the season.
The Lady Colonels finish their final regular season at 5-13-1. The will open district tournament play Monday evening against University Heights.
