Caldwell County senior Aliya Towns left her mark on the Lady Tiger Record Book.
The Lady Tigers saw their soccer season come to an end on Monday with a 3-0 setback to Madisonville-North Hopkins in the 7th District semifinals.
Towns finished the season with 37 goals — just two short of the Lady Tiger single-season record.
Towns recorded the third-most tallies ever for Caldwell’s girls. Maura Hughes had 39 goals in 2004 while Savannah Pepper scored 38 in 2009.
Towns ends her career with the fifth-most goals for a Lady Tiger with 69.
Hughes and Pepper are the top two on that list as well with 127 and 103, respectively.
Towns opened the 2025 season by tying the Lady Tiger single-game record of six goals in an 8-0 win at Lyon County.
Her 37 goals also rank 10th on the state’s scoring list this season, according to numbers from the Kentucky High School Athletic Association.
Towns helped Caldwell compile a 14-6 record this season — the program’s most wins in seven seasons.
