The Heritage Christian Lady Warriors volleyball team went into their matchup with McLean County looking to bounce back from a loss in their last game. They were able to do just that, and they did so in four sets.
The Lady Warriors lost the first set with a close score of 25-22, but it was all HCA after that. They were then able to take the second set in dominant fashion with a score of 25-5. That gave them the momentum they needed to take the third set 25-18, and the fourth 25-15.
The kill leader in the game for the Lady Warriors was Taylor Barbee with 12, and Hadlee Hayes also had eight. Charity Chambers led in assists with 18, while Makenzie McCarty had 17. As for digs, Allison Craft, Avery Lake, and Hayes all had over 20.
HCA will be looking to end their regular season on the right note in their final game on Thursday, October 9, against Henderson County at home. The game is scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m.
