With the 7th District semifinal match tied 4-4 late, Hopkins County Central’s Riley Dunlap drew a foul in the box, then made the penalty kick to put his team in front.
The Storm would go on to hold off Caldwell County 6-5 and advance to Thursday’s championship match against Madisonville-North Hopkins in Princeton.
It was the third goal of the night for Dunlap.
