Madisonville-North Hopkins goalkeeper Nevaeh Lindle needed to make just two saves on Monday to record her seventh shutout of the season.
However, one of them was a big one.
With the Lady Maroons up 1-0 midway through the first half of the 7th District semifinal contest, Caldwell County’s Nunie Bates ripped a shot from outside the box.
Lindle got a hand on the ball and tipped it over the net. It ended up being Caldwell’s best scoring opportunity of the contest as Madisonville went on to win 3-0.
