McKinley Jo Wilson got the Madisonville-North Hopkins Lady Maroons started on the right foot in the semifinals of the 7th District tournament on Monday.
Wilson scored the first goal of the game in the 10th minute, then found the net again in the 38th minute to put Madisonville up 2-0 at halftime.
The Lady Maroons would go on to pick up a 3-0 win over Caldwell County to advance to the district championship match.
Madisonville will take on top-seeded Hopkins County Central Thursday in Princeton.
