
Madisonville-North Hopkins freshman Aletheia Golightly made sure the Lady Maroons got off to a good start in Thursday’s 7th District championship match against Hopkins County Central.
Golightly scored the game’s first goal less than 2 minutes into the contest. She scored again less than 3 minutes into the second half and Madisonville was on its way to a 3-1 victory.
The Lady Maroons will play Crittenden County in the regional tournament at 1 p.m. Saturday at UHA.
