Hopkins County Central golfer Lucas Rambo was named to the Region 2 Golf Second Team following voting by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association.
Rambo had a third-place finish at the Madisonville Invitational and a ninth-place finish at the Hopkins County Central Invitational.
He also had 21st-place showings at Henderson County and Christian County.
Muhlenberg County’s Cy Tudor was named the region player of the year. He was joined on the First Team by Treyson Raymer and Jake Witherspoon of Madisonville, Lemuel Wright (Breckinridge County), and Vince Hayden (Owensboro Catholic).
Golfers named to the Second Team were Rambo, Jake Hayden of Henderson County, Triston Logsdon (Owensboro Catholic), and Shawn Cotton (Ohio County).
