
Treyson Raymer was one of three Madisonville-North Hopkins golfers named All-Region
A trio of Madisonville-North Hopkins golfers earned All-Region honors as voted on by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association.
Treyson Raymer and Jake Witherspoon were named to the Region 2 First Team, while Tyler Bryan was named to the Second Team.
Raymer finished in third place at the Region 2 Tournament and missed qualifying for the KHSAA State Championship by three shots.
He notched at least four top-10 finishes at invitationals this season, including a second-place finish at Madisonville, a fifth-place finish at Henderson County, and a seventh-place finish at Marshall County.
Raymer was named to the Second Team last year.

Witherspoon finished in 16th place at the region tournament, as well as a second-place finish at Henderson County and ninth place at Paducah Tilghman.
In being named to the Second Team, Bryan achieved a sixth-place finish at Henderson County and a 10th-place finish at the Hopkinsville Golf and Country Club Invitational. He closed with a 16th-place finish at the region tourney.
Bryan was also a Second Team All-Region selection last year.

Muhlenberg County’s Cy Tudor was named the region player of the year. He was joined on the First Team by Raymer, Witherspoon, Lemuel Wright (Breckinridge County), and Vince Hayden (Owensboro Catholic).
Golfers named to the Second Team were Jake Hayden of Henderson County, Triston Logsdon (Owensboro Catholic), Shawn Cotton (Ohio County), and Lucas Rambo (Hopkins County Central).
