With the results of Tuesday night’s volleyball match between Christian County and Fort Campbell now in the books, pairings are set for next week’s 8th District volleyball tournament. The tournament will get underway Monday evening at Christian County High School.
Fourth-seeded University Heights will take on fifth-seeded Hopkinsville in the only match of the night Monday night at 5:30pm. The Lady Blazers have four wins over the Lady Tigers this season and have not lost a match in the series since the 2017 8th District tournament.
Action resumes Tuesday when the winner of the UHA-Hopkinsville match will take on top-seeded Christian County in the first semifinal match. The Lady Colonels did not lose a match to a district opponent this season.
Tuesday night’s second semifinal will have second-seeded and defending 2nd Region champion Heritage Christian Academy taking on third-seeded Fort Campbell. The two teams split their matches this season. The Lady Falcons win over the Lady Warriors in September was the first win for Fort Campbell in the series.
The championship match is set for Thursday night at 6pm at Christian County High School.
